Synopsis:
At only nineteen, Cromwell Dean is already a world-renowned DJ, adored for his talent but haunted by a past he can’t outrun. When a move to a small university town forces him to face his pain, he meets Bonnie, a gifted music student with a heart full of light. Bonnie sees through Cromwell’s darkness in a way no one else ever has, and soon their worlds collide through the power of music. But Bonnie carries her own secret—one that could change everything. As their bond deepens, Cromwell and Bonnie must navigate love, loss, and the healing power of music in a story that will break your heart and put it back together again.
This love story was honestly so beautiful. Tillie Cole has a way of writing that makes you feel every single emotion right alongside her characters, and with Cromwell and Bonnie, I was completely swept away. Their connection through music was raw, tender, and unforgettable.
The ending… oh my god. I did not see it coming. It absolutely broke me and I was crying like a baby, clutching the book because I didn’t know what to do with myself. It was one of those stories that leaves you hollow and full all at the same time, and it’s going to stay with me for a very long time.
If you’re looking for a romance that is as heart-breaking as it is beautiful, A Wish For Us is definitely one you need to experience.
