I honestly love everything Elsie Silver writes. If her name’s on it, I’m there reading it. Wild Side totally sucked me in — the characters, the chemistry, the emotion… it’s all there. She just has this way of making you feel everything while keeping it super addictive.
Seriously, if you’re into romance that’s steamy but also real, Elsie Silver’s books are a safe bet. I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!
Synopsis:
When Tabitha's older sister Erika unexpectedly passes away, Tabitha is forced to clean out the apartment Erika was renting from the mysterious and handsome Rhys Although attracted to Rhys, Tabitha is convinced he evicted Erika and made her relapse and overdose on painkillers. Therefore, Tabitha and Rhys’s relationship begins tumultuously. Over time, however, they realize they have to put aside their differences to care for Erika’s three-year-old son Milo.
Where do I even start?
I loved, loved this book! At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d be into the whole wrestling thing with Rhys, but honestly, I surprisingly enjoyed it way more than I expected. It gave the story a gritty, unique edge that made it stand out. The characters had amazing chemistry — the banter was sharp, playful, and so entertaining. And the spice? Absolutely banging. It definitely kept things sizzling!
But what really hooked me was the angst. The emotional ups and downs had me completely invested in their journey. There were moments that made my heart ache and others that made me root for them so hard. The story felt raw and real, with enough tension to keep me turning pages late into the night.
If you’re a fan of steamy romances with depth, humour, and a bit of an edge, this one should be on your list. I’m so excited to see what this author comes out with next in the series!
